We used bird's-eye and quilted maple in this project. The wood was polished to a 100 dregree "wetlock." We interpreted the bird's-eye maple veneer and made up a dye for the solid stock to bring it into harmony. We blended and harmonized our dyes so that they worked well with the veneer panels that were done in the bird's-eye maple.
